Home Opinions Reviews Diary Creative writing Friends!

Hi all! In keeping with the previous plan of blogging every day for a bit to see how I like it, I've decided to keep a running html file open on my lappy to update throughout the day! Might use timestamps, might just continually write more and see how I feel. I suppose we'll all figure that out by the time this gets posted. I'm at work, so the periods in which I will be writing will still largely be reduced to certain points in time rather than a continually update of my thoughts as they happen. That I might do on a weekend or day off or something. Notepadqq keeps crashing, and I'm not sure why. Gonna have to investigate that, and probably finish this in a different text editor for the time being. Oh well. Decided to try out Geany to see how I like it. I had originally decided to use notepadqq because I use notepad++ on windows, but I might just switch out of it entirely, since I have had a few problems with it crashing in the past. And so far, Geany seems to be working a lot better. I also so far prefer the gui of Geany, so might have been a good idea to just switch entirely. Actually, my boyfriend recommened vs code, so I decided to give it a try, and I immediately like it better, so I'm just gonna go with it. Let's see if it has the stability of Geay on my current system.

So I finally have a break, Jesus Christ. Today has been so long, my clients have been a nightmare. Well okay, not really. Nightmare is not the right word, they've just been a lot. I am very glad that its finally time for my lunch. Also, ts code has worked fantastically, and it definitely is gonna replace notepadqq as well as pycharm, it just is so convenient and easy to use. Coding in html especially is a lot easier, since little things like autofilling the /p rather than me needing to type it out every time. Much more efficient. I also like how self-explanatory for me. Like, I didn't really know how to have wordwrap be on by default, so I did some digging through the settings and found a .json file that just let me directly tell the program to wordwrap, and that's like, so cool. I am very happy with it in general, and I am very glad that my boyfriend encouraged me to use it.

Work was better once I came back from my lunch break. Had just one more client to work with, and it went well. Although she did run a fever, it wasn't high enough to send her home, so we just basically chilled for a while, and I let her relax, which was nice! She (who for context, is 4ish) said "you're momma now" and I nearly cried. Was so sweet!!! Anyway, gonna drive home now, and will update after I get there!

Just got home from work, and am finishing up this blog post before I go inside. Today was exhausting, but I'm very glad to be home. If anything dramatic happens that I wanna talk about I will, but I'm most likely just going to relax. Much love to all!!!
