Hi all! Its been a while since I've updated the diary section of my website, so I figured I ought to! I've been working on that Israel v Palestine paper off and on for about a month now, and it has been quite taxing emotionally, which is making it take much longer than I expected. I still plan on finishing it sometime this year, but it is a lot. Beyond that, I'm keeping busy with work, and some other side projects! Me and my boyfriend also finally got a dog named Kody! Obligatory Kody pictures will be at the bottom of this page, so feel free to skip there if you wanna see doggie :3. He's been a handfull, since he's still a puppy, but I now can't imagine my household without him, he is my SON. He starts puppy training tonight actually, which should help with his tendancy to nip.
In respect to website stuff, I'm planning on working on a lil like, quasi-fan fiction series based on Doctor Who in the vein of The Orville and Star Trek, although this I don't wanna actually post until I've written a lot more. No idea when that's coming, but keep your eyes peeled! I also am making slow and steady progress with that Dragon Age: Origins review, as well as those other Assassin's Creed reviews, and I also plan on writing follow-up posts about powerscaling going more in-depth about the role sheer power has in fiction, along with why people powerscale at all. That's all super future stuff, and seems more and more like a way to let me stop thinking, reading, and writing about Israel. Being Jewish, it is very difficult and painful to consume the news and history of Israel and Palestine. Granted, I'm sure if I wasn't Jewish, it would still be painful, if perhaps less personal. Regardless, I feel it to be essential to communicate and describe the historical conditions that have led to where Israel and Palestine are today to help people become more informed in general (myself included).
